The Position: A MicroStation Designer is responsible for the technical delivery of engineering documents to both internal engineering team and external clients. This will include assisting in obtaining building permits and creating a scope of work for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and adjust construction drawings and data using MicroStation software,
- Draw detailed plans for foundations, building and structures based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations and other data,
- Communicate with project managers and other staff to build MicroStation models in accordance with project specifications,
- Analysis for potential conflicts between the structure and elements as defined by other members of the design team,
- Construct and maintain project files in accordance with Company policies and applicable project instructions,
- Assist with constructability reviews and production quantity take offs,
- Collect and validate data in Excel and be able to quickly retrieve the data as requested,
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred, Associates degree acceptable,
- 2+ years’ experience using MicroStation software,
- 2+ years’ experience using AutoCAD software preferred,
- Prior experience coordinating with contractors and internal design team,
- Ability to read and understand plans, drawings, standards and specifications preferred,
- Ability to analyze and input data on multiple projects,
- Ability to work on several concurrent projects,
- Excellent technical and communication skills.
