Pipeline Project Manager

The Position: The Project Manager will ensure accurate, complete and timely communication of information to and from clients and staff. Will be responsible for managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment including preparation of plans, reports, schedules and budgets. Tasked with ensuring the preparation of accurate and complete work products by monitoring the document delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management, planning, scheduling, and budget of multiple engineering/survey projects and personnel.
- Providing technical oversight to staff, ensuring that project schedules and budgets are met,
- Performing complex design calculations, preparing sketches and technical studies as required,
- Manage project objectives by collaborating with client and personnel, developing project proposals.
- Organize the project team by assembling, communicating with, and directing team members, assigning responsibilities and negotiating and contracting with approved subconsultants.
- Control project by directing and approving changes in design, specification, budget and schedule consistent with project objectives.
- Provides direction and training to fellow personnel, including assignment of responsibilities and tasks.
- Approve quality of work by analyzing design, client requirements, and performance standards and provide needed feedback regarding accuracy, completeness and value.
- Resolve project-related technical problems and personnel issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field,
- 1+ years’ experience in managing engineering related projects,
- 7+ years engineering design experience, specializing in Pipeline Engineering,
- California Professional Engineer License preferred but not required,
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Plant3d is a plus,
- Preparing proposals as well as maintaining projects deadlines and budget,
- Excellent technical, verbal and written communication skills pertaining to pipeline terminology,
- Ability to multitask and work on several projects concurrently.
