The Position: A Designer is responsible for preparing engineering designs, technical studies, sketches, and maps for a variety of projects. This includes collaborating with internal staff & external consultants to help deliver the best possible materials to the client.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop drawings and design layouts for engineering projects to ensure the projects specifications are upheld,
- Plan, prepare and interpret preliminary layouts and design drawings from engineering notes, sketches or drawings,
- Use standard drafting principles to complete drawings in Plant 3D,
- Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure deadlines are met and the intent of the design are sustained throughout the project,
- Review drawings for accuracy and completeness with special attention to the project specifications and standards,
- Complete any project-specific issues that arise during a project.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in drafting design preferred,
- 10+ years of engineering design experience using computer-aided drafting software,
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D,
- Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, and maps in AutoCAD Plant 3D,
- Advanced technical, and communication skills,
- Ability to work on and prioritize concurrent projects and deadlines,
