WLG announced today that David Schiller has joined the firm as Vice President of Strategic Planning based out of the firm’s Ontario, California office. In this role, Mr. Schiller will be responsible for direct client interaction as well as developing strategic business development/planning initiatives to further expand WLG’s client and project base.
Mr. Schiller brings more than 30 years of experience providing firms with utility engineering, construction management, strategic planning, and process and organizational development. “David has held high-profile positions in nationally-recognized firms providing continuous company improvements. He will be a trusted partner providing further oversight and direction at the firm,” said Matthew H. Okubo, PLS, Executive Vice President and Principal at WLG.
Prior to joining WLG, Mr. Schiller was the Continuous Improvement & Quality Manager and Director of Assets for Henkels & McCoy, a national infrastructure construction, design, and engineering contractor. He also held various positions as Field Operations Manager, Portfolio Manager, Technical Services Manager, Gas Distribution Compliance, and M&I Support Manager while at Sempra Energy and Southern California Gas Company.
Mr. Schiller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
